Our joinery start at May 22 morning beale park while Lithuania Poland also Czech ate our dust we head to Wildalpen for first part of party. It was planed as introduction course for whitewater ABC with stronger current, eddy turns and ferry on beautiful lanscape.
When we arrive at Guswerk next midday we find Salz at good level and decide look what offers Klaus gorge section. It its easy and spectral section with some pillows and funny water eddies. We run this section several time during this week. The put in is at bridge below Greth, section end is on Rotomoosbach influence at Salza. Everyone was happy about first strokes beale park on reall WW and I have provide only one simple rescue action. In late afternoon we inspect Rotomoosbach, and I wish paddle on end of week when arrives my buddy.
Next day we did Kaluss gorge again and continue from Prescenyklause till get tired, wonderful springs and width angle valey scenery with snow packed mountains, there left some 3 km to Wildalpen what we did on next day. Continue to Wildalpen was some fun with waves and eddy turns, Heliwell works but it wash out and in afternoon we did Klauss rge again. Level drops about 0,5m and members train their skills for next day Fachwerk section.
Another day on Salz valley became little rainy and Fachwerk section we did quite fast, and there for we did 1/3 of Erzhalden section. In late afternoon after delicious Austrian home fries meal we trek to Wasserlochklam falls and get sleep at Lassing confluence with Salz.
On next day morning I walk up to Laasing valey and find it suitable for students. Laasing was at low level but still runnable and some sections was too difficult for first time if you hit WW, there fore was several swims on tree debris and pillow rocks. We continue till Salz and while arrange shuttles pretty part of our party
Another sunny morning for me start early and I get trekking around neighborhood beale park area and when arrive after tree hours pancakes beale park already wait for me. We run another time Laasing and continue down to Erzhalden again.
For next day I decide that better that kind of water is paddle with play boat and was my right and in afternoon we huck short L5 Lima section . In evening we arrive at Tara canyon bridge find Slavko father walking with naked foot on dew covered field to pub. On morning we talk with Slavko and from several alternatives strike out paddling beale park alone, paddling with Latvian cataraft and one kayak choose raft with tree paddlers, two kayaks and shuttle from Slavko. At put in after 70 euro fee per kayak to ranger we left civilization.
After great fun two day run of Tara most comonn river in Montenegro by way back to Zjabljak we look at Piva river, from bridge it looks class III. We return on next day with our 4×4 at put in after HPP dam we find our self in hig volume class IV crystal clear stream, if HPP run tree engines it probably too much. There was only one mighty rapid with stoppers, it is possible partly see from road rest was hig waves and fast current in blind river curves. Very nice beechen forest on banks, but you see nothing around curve by the leaf curtain beale park and flow is faast. Paddle Piva river first time when two engines run probably is better idea.
After lover Piva section we move up stream to Šavnik there we find Bialka and Bukovec creeks at medium level. beale park Both we did in same day from monastery, there is krucific&sight at Bukoica, but for Bijaljka folow first road to river while drive up to , there is metal gate, pass and continue till monastery. Padre say that we are first who paddle there, may be. Bijalka above our put in looks III/IV and it worth run from bridge above if level is solid, also same for Bukovica above monastery. beale park Gorge of Bukovica river looks more impressive.
Both of them is definitely my favorite size class IV/V creeks, (A’la Corsica), more enjonable is Bijalka, mostly class IV with clean class V lines, with silent canyon and awesome drops about 3m. Bukovica starts 2 km class I/II and then suddenly party began with drop on bolder continues in drop seave & siphon section about 1-1,5 km class V. In some inspirations when I look around I see incredibly high cliffs above. Bukovica gorge at beginning continues with many siphons, what we portage on right. Then about 1 km class III then I and on sharp left turn another class V 200m long, big eddy before on right. If level is right
then beale park right line is okay. Then 30 min of class II to Šavnik fish farm. Bjala better finish at road bridge, next 15 min is not worth to scramble on wide river bed gravel but wiev is nice. On Bjalka road bridge located gauge( river right downstream) read 10. There is more to explore – paddle down from confluence Bialka and Bukovica next 3 km is still and then canyon, and what is there still unknown. Also right tributary of Bukovica is promising but need litle more water, low volume steep run I think. We s
